This privacy policy applies to the app TryOnCam (referred to as "the app").

1. Data Collection & Processing

We collect and process your photos only for the purpose of generating AI-powered virtual try-on visualizations. Your photos are sent to Google Gemini AI for processing and are automatically deleted after generation is complete. We do not store any of your images on our servers.

2. Image Processing

When you upload photos, our app performs local processing on your device to resize and prepare images for AI generation. This processing happens entirely on your device using iOS frameworks. Only prepared images are temporarily sent to Google Gemini AI for virtual try-on generation.

3. Third-Party AI Service (Google Gemini)

Your photos are temporarily sent to Google Gemini AI for virtual try-on generation. Images are processed in base64 format and are permanently deleted from Google's servers immediately after generation. We have no control over Google's data retention policies, but we only send images for processing and do not store them ourselves.

4. Local Storage

Generated try-on images, app preferences, and user settings are stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage. Nothing is stored on external servers beyond the temporary processing mentioned above. You can delete generated images anytime from your device.

5. Premium Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and premium subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your payment information according to their privacy policy, but does not access your photos, generated try-ons, or personal content. All subscription data is handled by Apple and RevenueCat.

6. No Analytics or Tracking

This app does not use any analytics, tracking tools, or third-party advertising services. We respect your privacy completely and do not collect usage data or personal information beyond what's necessary for the core functionality. We do not track your app usage or collect behavioral data.

7. Image Processing & Cropping

All image quality checks, resizing, cropping, and preparation are performed locally on your device using iOS frameworks. No personal data is shared during these local processes. The app only sends images to Google Gemini for the actual AI generation step.

8. Data Security

All data transmission to Google Gemini uses secure HTTPS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during the brief processing period. However, we cannot guarantee the security of data once it reaches Google's servers.

9. Your Control

You are in full control of your data. You can delete generated images anytime from your device, and uninstalling the app removes all stored data from your device. No data is retained on our servers. Since we don't store your images, you have complete control over your content.

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't store data, this is primarily a precautionary statement.

13. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
